Skat Consulting Ltd. and it’s Dar-es Salaam branch, providing key knowledge, expertise, tools and designs on an opensource basis. Skat plans to establish its office within the business area of the Ardhi University, in order to ease intense exchange and knowledge transfer with local professionals.
Description
The greater Dar-Zanzibar is one of the fastest growing in Africa. In order to minimize the environmental impact of this growth, this project aims to establish a new, resource-saving yet cost-effective way of building in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar. The plan is to transfer the positive experiences gained during PROECCO and adapt them to local conditions. The aim is to establish the Swiss Cube system as a design, including the required supply chain, in Tanzania.
