Swiss Contribution
Agape international has been active in DPR Korea since 1995 with several projects. The Swiss engineering company Hässig Sustech Gmbh with its expert Werner Hässig will support the project technically. They have twenty years of experience in energy efficiency (MINERGIE).
Description
The project aims at the dissemination of the knowledge about energy efficient construction work (design, planning and construction) in combination with the use of alternative energy sources (wind, sun, and biogas) in the DPR Korea. This shall be demonstrated in a practical manner as a model with the construction of a typical village type house and the planning and the contruction of a small town building based on current standards in Switzerland / Europe (e.g. Minergie). This includes also proposals for the adaption of existing construction laws so that this aspect can be taken into consideration in the future. The know-how about implementing energy efficient standards in design and construction work is transferred to at least 100 domestic specialists that are able to train others.
