Description
The waste transfer station ET SUR located in Quito, Ecuador, is to be complemented by an additional cost optimized biogas unit. The planned extension’s main goal is to use most of the approximately 300 tons of organic waste delivered daily to ET SUR for energy production. The REPIC project includes the technical feasibility clarification and the development of a well-adapted business model. First calculations have shown a promising starting position for the planned biogas unit’s economic and ecologic future operation.
