Description |
There is comprehensive academic and theoretical know-how in biogas production available in Morocco today, mainly thanks to the research of the University of Oujda. In addition, Morocco intends to significantly increase the share of renewable energies, in order to meet the constantly increasing demand for energy and to solve the problems of organic waste disposal.
Therefore, the framework conditions for biogas plants shall be studied in order to acquire the necessary know-how for the implementation of profitable biogas projects. The feasibility study includes:
• the recording of the fermentable material in the Oujda region and an assessment of the biogas potential,
• the working out of an inventory on the infrastructure present (road, electricity and gas network),
• and an analysis of the legal and political framework conditions. |
