Description	A regional wind energy center is located in Antsiranana (Diego-Suarez), at the northern tip of Madagascar.  It supplies the market in the western Indian Ocean region (Madagascar as both the local and main market; Reunion, Mauritius, Seychelles and Maldives Islands as well as the east coast of Africa) with technologically high quality, partly locally produced wind energy from plants and know-how. A private limited company has been founded in Madagascar for this purpose.  Acting as general contractors, this service company offers complete system solutions for the operation from the electric mains supply.  In order to supply rural areas and as partners for donors from northern Madagascar, a local non-profit association was founded
