The REPIC Platform should represent an important contribution to the creation of a coherent policy and strategy in Switzerland, for the promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency in international cooperation.
The REPIC-Platform contributes to the implementation of global climate protection agreements and to a sustainable energy supply in developing and transition countries, as well as in Switzerland, and represents an important part in the implementation of the Swiss policy for sustainable development on the international level.
A common engagement of the 4 federal offices in the international cooperation field is in this structure (accompanying instruments, common budget), innovative and represents a new form of interdepartmental cooperation.
